Job Overview:
The Staffing Coordinator at Extended Hands Home Care Agency will be responsible for managing and coordinating the scheduling and placement of temporary and permanent employees for our clients. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with clients, candidates, and internal teams to ensure a smooth and efficient staffing process.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with clients to understand their staffing needs and requirements.
Source and identify suitable candidates through job boards, databases, referrals, and other recruitment channels.
Conduct initial candidate screenings, interviews, and assessments to evaluate qualifications and fit for specific roles.
Coordinate and schedule candidate interviews with clients and manage interview feedback.
Ensure all required documentation, background checks, and references are obtained and verified for candidates.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and client records in the company's database.
Monitor candidate performance and client satisfaction during placements and address any issues promptly.
Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates and clients to ensure ongoing staffing success.
Provide regular reports and updates to the staffing manager on placement status and performance metrics.
Stay informed about industry trends, labor laws, and best practices in staffing and workforce management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proven experience in staffing, recruitment, or a related role.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
Proficiency in using staffing software or applicant tracking systems (ATS).
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills.
